Happy TBT! Back in 2012, Titi and Miko did an interview with CocoaFab's Dana Johnson, in which they discussed the progression of the Miss Jessie's brand, from the kitchen of their Bedstuy brownstone to the shelves of local markets all around the country. The Branch sisters saw the gap in the beauty market for products specifically catering to naturally coily, kinky, curls, but with hard work and unyielding determination, they created the naturally curly hair care business empire that we curly cuties are fortunate to benefit from today. As pioneers in the natural hair care movement, Miko and Titi gave us the tools to genuinely love and embrace our natural hair, and to no longer live life feeling burdened by curls, but rather incredibly blessed to possess such a beautiful and now coveted quality.
